The Good Hurt Live at the Crocodile

It's a Saturday night at The Crocodile, a legendary music venue in Seattle, WA, which has hosted acts like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Death Cab for Cutie, The Presidents of the United States of America and many more. Headlining for the first time, The Good Hurt prepares to do what they do best... kill! And kill they did.

I had the pleasure of shooting video that night for the band and before the show, we had a brief conversation about their journey to the point of headlining a packed club and beyond and their advice to other emerging bands.

R.I.P. Steve Jobs

By now, I'm sure that you already know that one of the most important and influential men in our lifetime has passed away. He had been battling pancreatic cancer since 2004. The world will miss him. Musicians will miss him.

There's no doubt that without Apple, and the brilliance of Steve Jobs, the music industry would be completely different; We can create great music with Logic Studio on our Mac Pros, sell it on iTunes and then listen to it on our iPod. Might as well make a few calls on our iPhone and tell people to buy it. Obviously, this scenario illustrates a very true life that many of us live thanks to the legacy of Steve Jobs.
